MR House

MR House was conceived as an opportunity to express simplicity and synthesis, while maintaining a strong and solid presence. The clarity of its geometry and the purity of its material solution allow for a functional reading from the exterior, offering a usage dynamic that responds to contemporary lifestyles.

The ground floor is laid out as an open space, designed to host social activity in a broad, fluid setting. This space connects with the gallery, functioning as a natural extension of the interior and blurring the boundaries between inside and outside, enabling a gradual relationship with the surrounding environment. Spatial continuity and visual openness reinforce the sense of breadth and connection with nature.

On the upper floor, the primary suite faces the lagoon, prioritizing views and privacy. At the front of the house are the children’s bedrooms, ensuring a balanced and functional distribution.

The exterior aesthetic, defined by exposed concrete, is complemented by iron enclosures that resolve the main entrance and function as sunshades, contributing a distinctive character and reinforcing the home’s identity. The combination of materials and formal purity establish MR House as an example of contemporary architecture that blends simplicity, solidity, and harmonious integration with its surroundings.
