AM House

Born from a morphological interplay that combines ribbons with volumes, this residence takes shape. Movement, together with chromatic contrasts, draws the eye and unifies the whole, creating an integrative reading of a volumetric composition. The intention to preserve privacy toward the street, through structural hermeticism and the front garden, stands in strong contrast to the idea of openness at the rear, where a façade is elevated by a ribbon that frames the gallery and barbecue area. The ground floor is laid out for social uses with supporting service areas, while the upper floor is reserved for more private functions, where the bedrooms are located. Geometry, volumes, movement, and balance come together playfully to contain spaces with their own identity.
